EGSILBERMAN
Evan Graham Silberman did not set out to be an artist but is now successfully expressing his thoughts on canvas. Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Evan was exposed to the vast cultural availability of Manhattan. While a student at Emory University, he was the advertising manager of the newspaper, and in New York he was hired as a writer by advertising firm Ammirati & Puris, where he twice won advertising's high honor, the Clio Award. He later left commercial writing to devote time to his own personal writing. Soon Evan found himself creating art to break up the intensity of the writer's process, and was encouraged to continue by friends. He has since had public showings in two galleries in Greenwich Village, in which he sold a dozen pieces. His work is currently in private collections in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami, New York, Toronto, London, Copenhagen and Frankfurt.
